Profile

Research/Clinical Interests

My intention is to apply and support a holistic view of dairy sustainability through unique projects that promote the understanding and impacts of milk quality and animal welfare while accounting for farm culture and traditions. This can include investigating alternatives to antibiotic treatments/preventatives, application of useful/novel training techniques or platforms, AI for use in detection/prevention of udder health events, or unique solutions that address/uphold dairy cattle welfare. My goal is also to tie in contributions/improvements in udder health to overall welfare and sustainability.
