Biography/Professional Experience
Dr. Gieger is a native of New Orleans, LA and is a 1996 DVM graduate of Louisiana State University. She is board-certified in small animal internal medicine and oncology (ACVIM) and radiation oncology (ACVR). Her primary role at Cornell is as a Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology. Her research interests include prospective and retrospective studies that further define the role of radiation therapy for cancerous and non-cancerous/inflammatory diseases in cats and dogs. She also serves as the Examination Director for the American College of Veterinary Radiology, Specialty of Radiation Oncology.
