DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): 

Dr. Nydam will be responsible for ensuring that the New York phase of the on-farm experiments are completed well. In addition he will supervise and train the graduate student responsible for day to day conduct of these experiments. The student assistants will also be under his supervision. As a proven investigator of dairy studies he will also collaborate in laboratory analysis of samples, modeling of the data, and manuscript preparation.
