Project Amount: $101,761
Project Period: November 2020 to May 2022

DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant):

The main objective of this project is to determine the financial feasibility of existing veterinary practices to incorporate payment plans which require holding debt within the practice into their business model so as to increase the access of veterinary care to financially constrained pet owners. A second objective is to investigate the attitudes towards payment plans of both clients and veterinary professionals as a means of identifying barriers to financed care.
