Principal Investigator: Bettina Wagner

Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences
Sponsor: ArkeaBio
Title: Reagent Validation for Development of an Antigen-Specific Salivary Immunoassay: Phase II
Project Amount: $37,083
Project Period: June 2026 to May 2027

DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant):

To establish a robust and reliable immunoassay framework for measuring both total and antigen-specific immunoglobulins (IgA and IgG) in saliva. This includes validating commercial kits for total Ig quantification to serve as a normalization control, as described in and developing a new antigen-specific ELISA or bead-based assay to detect antibodies specific to one or more ArkeaBio-supplied antigens.

Execution of this Statement of Work (SOW) is dependent upon successful identification of a reagent specific for bovine IgA that also detects native bovine IgA is identified in the above linked SOW (i.e., “Milestone 1”).
