Research Interest

  • Investigation of miRNAs in circulation and in situ of multiple canine neoplasms.
    • Focus on canine osteosarcoma, lymphoma, and splenic masses.
    • Isolation of miRNAs from plasma, serum, frozen tissue, and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples and performing reverse transcription PCR and real-time quantitative PCR
  • Investigation of the mutational landscape of canine and feline tumors (collaboration with the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Cambridge, UK).
