This Immunology Symposium is open to all members of the Cornell–Ithaca and Weill Cornell medicine community.

The purpose of this symposium is to bring together researchers and clinicians from both the Cornell–Ithaca and Weill Cornell Medicine with a broad shared interest in immunology. The symposium will feature speakers from both campuses, flash talks by trainees, a poster session, and breakout sessions where participants will discuss ideas to strengthen collaborations and ties between researchers at the two campuses.

The first joint symposium of the Primary Care Veterinary Educators and the Veterinary Educator Collaborative will be held at Cornell University June 22-24, 2018. The program will stimulate discussion of a topic that is central to our work as veterinary educators: helping students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will allow a smooth transition from their role as pre-clinical and clinical students to that of practitioner.

Dr. Rajni Singh got her PhD degree in Molecular and Integrative Physiology from Cornell in 2012. She was an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) fellow before taking her current position as a Consumer Safety Officer at FDA. She will share her transition from a researcher to a regulatory professional and answer questions about opportunities for Ph.D. holders in regulatory affairs.
