The Cornell Center for Veterinary Business and Entrepreneurship (CVBE) has introduced a new Career Services Program dedicated to supporting veterinary students at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

As part of the new program, the CVBE welcomed Robyn Leary, who will serve as a career services associate, providing personalized one-on-one career coaching and facilitating group workshops to help veterinary students navigate their academic and professional journeys. She will also lead the development of a comprehensive suite of resources designed to support students in their transition after graduation. As part of the CVBE’s business education division, Leary will play a key role in cultivating strategic partnerships with alumni, employers and industry leaders to enhance career opportunities and professional development for students.

“We are deeply grateful to the Triad Foundation for the initial funding that helped us get this initiative off the ground, allowing us to expand our career services offerings for veterinary students,” said Jorge L. Colón, ’92, D.V.M. ’95, director of veterinary business education at the CVBE. “Robyn brings a strong background in health career advising to the college, and her expertise will be invaluable in helping students make informed career decisions and build the skills they need for a successful transition into the veterinary profession.”

“I am thrilled to join the CVBE team,” said Leary. “Cornell’s leadership in veterinary medicine and business education is truly inspiring. I look forward to building strong relationships that expand mentorship and career opportunities for Cornell veterinary students – helping to connect the current and future leaders of the veterinary profession.”

This program was developed in collaboration with the Office of Student and Academic Services and Alumni Affairs and Development. It was made possible by the generous financial support coming from CVBE network partners.
