Dr. Daryl Nydam, Freeville, N.Y., has been elected as the next vice president of AABP. Nydam will assume the office of vice president at the conclusion of the AABP Annual Business Meeting on August 29, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minn. He will serve as the pre-conference seminar coordinator for the 2027 AABP Annual Conference and on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the next four years.

AABP extends a sincere thank you to Dr. Eric Behlke, Okotoks, AB, for giving us the honor of placing his name on the ballot. AABP is sincerely grateful to all of our volunteers who are the lifeblood of the organization.

The AABP Nominations Committee is currently receiving nominations for the 2026 vice president election. Interested candidates should submit a CV/resume and letter of interest by January 31 to Dr. Fred Gingrich (fred@aabp.org) and Dr. Sam Bryant (sam.bryant@okstate.edu) chair of the Nominations Committee. Self-nominations are accepted.
