Remembering Nemo, namesake of the Farm Animal Hospital

On June of each year, we take a moment to remember Nemo, the namesake of our Farm Animal Hospital at Cornell.  This very special former porcine patient helped push boundaries in the field of large animal oncology and brought together various specialists, staff and students at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals to help this remarkable pig. Thanks to their efforts, Nemo’s B-cell lymphoma cancer went into remission for a full year, and set the groundwork for future breakthroughs in large animal medicine.
