Introducing the CVM 2021 Annual Report

The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has released its 2021 Annual Report, showcasing its achievements towards its institutional strategic priorities. "This annual report marks another year of change and challenge for the college," writes Lorin D. Warnick, D.V.M., Ph.D.'94, Austin O. Hooey Dean of Veterinary Medicine, in his introduction to the report. "It has been a period of return to normal for many activities and also a time of significant growth."

As in the past two years, the 2021 report showcases CVM's continued efforts in the six strategic priority areas outlined in the college’s  strategic plan, which include:

  • Educational Innovation and Career Readiness
  • Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Transformative Research
  • Advances in Animal, Human and Ecosystem Health
  • Health Begins Here
  • Strengthening Our Foundation

"As we look ahead to the coming years, the college is positioning itself to do work that is most needed for the future conditions of our world," Warnick writes. "Through our education, service and discovery, I am confident that our institution will continue to make great headway in creating a healthier world for all.”
