Research/Clinical Interests
My laboratory, the Cytopathology Research Laboratory (Cyte), focuses on research bridging basic and applied sciences. Our main focus is on the development of diagnostic tools applied (but not limited) to oncology. We are also interested in investigating mechanisms involved in oncogenesis in dogs, cats, and horses, as well as using these domestic species as animal models of naturally occurring cancer, with potential translational applications to human health.
