The resident will be involved in both Ph.D. research and clinical parasitology training. In the first year, the focus will be on clinical parasitology training, with the resident focusing the majority of his time on acquiring the skills and knowledge required of a clinical parasitologist. The remainder of the time will be spent focusing on training in laboratory techniques and research.
