Title: Braiding Resources for Applied Action Research to Unpack and Address Barriers to Health Equity
Project Amount: $5,000
Project Period: July 2023 to June 2024

DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant):

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Cornell University and Cayuga Health (CH) collaborated with the Tompkins County Health Department (TCHD) to ensure community health and wellbeing. This process broke down major structural barriers, and permitted coordinated research and public/health services. As we emerge from the emergency response, two synergistic opportunities have emerged to create an opportunity for cross-sectoral partnerships in order to accelerate collaboration, resource sharing, and collective action to improve population wellbeing and health equity. This grant will help us plan and begin to take action.
