Patrick Carney, D.V.M. '06, on editorial board of the Merck Veterinary Manual

Patrick Carney, D.V.M. '06, an associate professor specializing in small animal internal medicine and epidemiology, is serving on the editorial board for the Merck Veterinary Manual, an authoritative veterinary medical reference.

In his role, Carney collaborates with the other board members to review the online content for accuracy and relevance.

Carney teaches classes in primary care in the department of clinical sciences at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. He also serves as the co-chief of the department’s community practice service section.

Carney earned his D.V.M. from Cornell University in 2006. He then completed specialty training in small animal internal medicine at Oregon State University. In 2017, he earned a Ph.D. in epidemiology from Boston University School of Public Health and joined the faculty at Cornell.
