Caring Cabinets

Leave What You Can - Take What You Need

The shelves are located underneath the microwaves in the students' kitchen area off of the second floor atrium, a few feet down from the Centennial Room. These cabinets are available to all CVM community members, including students, staff, and faculty.

All are encouraged to:

  • Leave non-perishable, un-expired, un-opened food in cans, boxes, jars, bottles and sealed packets.
  • If you would like to make a monetary donation to help keep the Caring Cabinets full, you can do so using this secure "Giving at Cornell" page.
  • Freely take what you need.

For additional ways to obtain sufficient food in affordable, convenient ways as well as information on SNAP benefits, visit Cornell Health’s Affordable Food Resources and Student and Campus Life's Support and Resources pages.

Food is a basic human right. Helping to ensure that everyone has enough to eat is an immediate way to support others.
