Fitness Classes

Spring 2026 Schedule: Jan 28 - May 15

These free yoga classes are made possible thanks to a generous donation made by retired small animal veterinarian, Bob Pane, D.V.M. ’75. Thank you again Dr. Pane!

  • What: Prana Slow-Flow Yoga
This slow-flow practice invites you to move, breathe, and feel your energy in a state of ease and presence. Rooted in the philosophy of Vinyasa, this style emphasizes slow, fluid, and mindful movements that unfold with the breath, creating a meditative and deeply grounding experience. Each session encourages you to connect with your body’s natural rhythm, exploring strength and flexibility through intuitive, unhurried sequencing. The slower pace allows space for deep awareness, subtle alignment, and inner stillness—making each movement a meditation in motion and offers a soothing journey into balance, and calm, steady energy.
  • How: Simply arrive dressed in comfortable, flexible clothing and sign the waiver in the front of the room (sign just once for the whole semester). Yoga mats and supplies are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own, along with a water bottle.
  • Where: CVM Community Well-being Room (S1-017).
  • Who: Classes are suitable for people of any fitness level. All class instructors are experienced members of the Cornell Recreation team and can modify classes to suit participants’ needs.
