The AHDC currently pools up to 10 animals for BVDPCR Testing. In the event of a test positive pool in animals at least 61 days of age, the 10 animals are tested separately via BVD antigen capture ELISA (ACE). The determination of the positive animal(s) in a pool using the ACE testing has previously been done at no charge. As of January 1, 2021 this confirmatory testing is done at the standard BVDACE price, currently $5.70 per sample. Additional testing information is available online.
