Donkey Chemistry Panel

Clinical Pathology Laboratory

The Clinical Pathology Laboratory is now offering a donkey chemistry panel. This is the chemistry panel of choice for donkeys because it includes measurements of triglyceride and cholesterol concentrations, whereas the large animal chemistry panel does not. Sick, stressed and anorexic donkeys are very prone to becoming hyperlipidemic, and concentrations of these analytes can inform the diagnosis and prognosis in these cases. The cost of this panel is $56 and the code is DNKYP.
