Testing Change: Equine Fever of Unknown Origin Panel


Starting July 15, the Equine Fever of Unknown Origin Panel (test code EFUOP) will also include Salmonella culture on feces, with an associated panel price increase to $198. In addition to Salmonella culture, this panel will continue to include multiple real-time PCRs for the detection of a broad range of pathogens responsible for equine fever, as outlined below.

  • Nasal swab in sterile vial with 2-3 drops sterile saline
