What to Bring

Classroom Supplies

Lecture notes and other notices are generally delivered electronically. Students need a laptop computer, iPad or other notebook to use the notes that are distributed prior to lectures and labs. In addition, students should bring a basic dissection kit and laboratory coat. More specific information will be communicated vial email during the months before you would arrive on campus.

Clothing

Clothing should be comfortable and serviceable, capable of meeting the demands of diverse weather conditions and the varied terrain encountered on field trips. Soft-soled shoes are a must. Late May and even early June in Bristol, RI can be cold and rainy so bringing foul-weather gear. Days can also be hot, particularly toward the middle of June, and the sun can be punishing, so dark glasses and head coverings may be desirable. This will be discussed further via email before the courses begin.
