Most tenure-track faculty in Biomedical and Translational Sciences contribute to curricula associated with different fields that are part of the Graduate School, including but not limited to Biomedical and Biological Sciences (BBS); Genetics, Genomics and Development (GGD); Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology (BMCB); and Computational Biology (CB). 

Many labs in the department train post-doctoral fellows. In addition, the Center for Animal Resources and Education (CARE) sponsors an ACLAM-recognized laboratory animal medicine residency.
